Dr. Megan R. Friesen

I’m a behavioural ecologist fascinated by the unique ways animals communicate and perceive the world around them. My research has focused on seabird senses, conservation, island and marine biology. I am also passionate about science communication, and helping people discover the magic of our natural world. Studying nocturnal seabirds on remote islands is when I’m happiest!
